Who We Are

White Hart Morris Men represent authentic Cotswold Morris dancing tradition in Alcester. We formed in Redditch in 1972 as a revivalist side, developing our own unique repertoire that includes traditional dances from Headless Cross alongside collected traditions from historic villages. White Hart Morris Men specialise in traditional dances from Adderbury, Bampton, Bledington, Fieldtown, Headington and Lichfield.

White Hart Morris Men practice weekly and welcome new members of all abilities. We provide comprehensive mentoring for newcomers through experienced dancers who teach basic steps, figures and traditions in a supportive environment. White Hart Morris Men maintain both our original Headless Cross dances and the authentic traditions we have preserved from established morris villages.

White Hart Morris Men perform throughout the region at festivals, fêtes, weddings, pub events and community celebrations. We dance authentic Cotswold Morris traditions that showcase distinctive steps, hand movements and figures documented and preserved for generations. White Hart Morris Men bring traditional music, colourful spectacle and English heritage to any event.
