OVER FIVE decades of preserving England’s traditional dance heritage

History of White Hart Morris Men

White Hart Morris Men were formed in Headless Cross, Redditch over 50 years ago, taking our name from the historic White Hart Inn. We specialise in Cotswold Morris traditions, particularly those from the villages of Adderbury, Headington, and Bampton. White Hart Morris Men maintain these dances through regular practice, performance, and teaching the next generation of dancers.

New dancers and musicians welcome – no experience necessary

Join The White Hart Morris Men

White Hart Morris Men practice weekly at the Town Hall in Alcester every Monday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm between September and April. During the summer months we still meet on a monday but at local pubs and venues in the area where we give them a taste of what we can do. We welcome new members of all abilities – no prior experience needed. White Hart Morris Men provide mentoring for newcomers, with experienced dancers teaching the basic steps and figures in a supportive environment.
